Krista B. and Queen P.R. celebrate their 4th anniversary of Those Wrestling Girls podcast in Brooklyn, New York on November 5, 2022.

Krista B. is a journalist, host, producer, and media maven from Brooklyn. She is currently a media producer for WBLS, Hot 97, and owns her own entertainment blog called Unapologetically Eclectic.

Queen P.R. is a journalist, brand marketing manager, and host from the Bronx. She currently works for Sun US, and blogs for Jersey Indie.

Krista B. and Queen P.R. have been lifelong wrestling fans and were inspired by the rise in female athletes in the media like Serena Williams and Ronda Rousey. When wrestling began to reflect this with WWE’s Women’s Evolution starting in 2015.

In 2018, they decided to create a brand that did a number of things to elevate women in wrestling: focus our content on female wrestlers, ring announcers, etc., provide a platform for black women to have a voice in a predominantly white space, and create a community of women’s wrestling fans in real life.

We believe we have reached this goal.
